The challenges of the environmental transition of the film and audiovisuel industry in France and Europe

Driven by the Nausicä association, this report takes an overview of solutions for reducing the environmental footprint of film and audiovisual production.

Based on 150 interviews with industry professionals and actors in the ecological transition at European level, it contains regulatory proposals, as well as best practices, tools and innovations for eco-production.

Looking to the long term, this report launches a process of reflection on the incorporation of sobriety into the audiovisual sector, focusing on four dimensions: organizational models, the promotion of low-carbon solutions, cooperation on a European scale, and awareness-raising and training for professionals.
